2015.05.15 - Banner Drop on Upper Wentworth & LINC Overpass

Hamilton Banner Drop at Upper Wentworth & the LINC!

May 15, 2015

Terry, Anibal, Sophie, Tracey, Judy, Ruth, Joette, Chris, Penny, and Dave participated in the May 15 "banner drop". We stood on the Upper Wentworth St. /Linc overpass with our “Save door to Door” banner hanging over the bridge, our CUPW flags, and our Mail to Every Door signs. During the rush hour when traffic on the Linc is almost at a standstill, we had a captive audience. And the response was overwhelming! For the hundreds of positive responses, we had a very few negative. The Canadian public gets the "Save Door to Door" message, and are solidly behind our campaign. It was also a lot of fun, and a great way to start the long weekend! Thanks to all!
