After much lengthy back and forth discussions, we were able to achieve amendments to Management's hard line position related to day positions, where we have pushed back based on Article 14.30 to increase day positions and to adjust schedules.

Canada Post's Global Offer falls short

From our initial view of the new offer, it contains some of the same language of the previous Global Offers, including the attack on our pension plan, inferior benefits for future employees, more part-time jobs and fewer full-time opportunities. It also pushes for binding arbitration for many issues, funding lawyers instead of investing directly in you.
