After much lengthy back and forth discussions, we were able to achieve amendments to Management's hard line position related to day positions, where we have pushed back based on Article 14.30 to increase day positions and to adjust schedules.

Rally to Save Canada Post - January 27, 2014

Hamilton Local protesting Canada Post’s service cuts on January 27, 2014 in front of the Federal Building at 55 Bay St. N. Despite the extreme cold CUPW Hamilton Local , along with PSAC, OPSEU, CURC, Local 1005 Steelworkers and other groups expressed their disapproval of the service cuts and price hikes CPC announced in December. The Local spoke with media outlets including CHCH, CBC, and The Hamilton Spectator.
