Hamilton Local 548 was very successful this Labour Day in promoting the “Save Door to Door” message. During the Labour Day parade we proudly carried our “Save Door to Door” banner, and our t-shirts echoed that message. We had great feedback from the public on the t-shirts the Local had made for Labour Day. At the subsequent picnic we obtained 125 signatures for the “Save Door to Door” petitions, and the Local gave away 250 lawn signs. This Labour Day action was a great success for the Hamilton Local in promoting the “Save Door to Door” message. We would like to thank the Hamilton and District Labour Council for all their assistance, NDP MPs that attended, and thank you to our Fight Back Committee.
