Changes at HMPP!

After much lengthy back and forth discussions, we were able to achieve amendments to Management's hard line position related to day positions, where we have pushed back based on Article 14.30 to increase day positions and to adjust schedules.

The Council of Canadians sponsored an awareness raising march/picket on Friday October 3, 2014 which originated at the Sheraton Hamilton and ultimately joined a picket being held in front of the Federal Building at 55 Bay St.N. Again, the Local Fight Back Committee, Local activists, and members of the Local Executive took part in this demonstration. Information booklets were handed out, and we made a strong presence at this important demonstration.
