General Membership Meeting, Sat. November 19, 2022Please note that meeting begins at 5:00pm and this is an IN-PERSON meeting.WHERE:United Steelworkers' Hall1031 Barton Street East Parking is around back off of Rosslyn Ave. N Agenda A) Opening Ceremonies B) New Member Acceptance & Initiation C) Roll Call of Officers D) Reading & Adoption of Minutes E) Reading & Adoption of Correspondence F) Reports of Officers, Committees & Delegates G) Bills & Accounts H) Nominations & Elections Election for 1st Vice President As per 5.8 of the Local by-laws, nominations must be submitted to the Local in writing no later than 14 days prior to the meeting. All nominations must clearly indicate the name of the nominee, the name of the nominator and must be signed by the nominator. As per 8.7 of the Local by-laws, if a nominee is not going to be present at the meeting, they must provide a written statement to the Local Secretary Treasurer indicating their acceptance of the nomination.
